To help you understand more about where these pups come from (known as puppy mills) I have provided a link to a video that should help: www.youtube.com The Story: Was out today, applying for jobs at the mall, when we come across a pet shop /inside/ the mall. This was something I'd never seen before; curious, I approached the shop. The first thing I saw turned me off towards that store. A Shiba Inu pup, no older than probably 5 months, in about a 3X3 glass cage with rodent bedding thinly scattered on the floor of the cage, and equipped with a large, rodent, water feeder. This pup was a display for the store. Entering the store, I was only further disappointed. Several 2X3 cages containing 2 small pups, each. Again, they had rodent water feeders. One small white chihuahua cross pup (being sold as a purebred chihuahua, but was obviously not), being a dog and not a rodent, ! couldn't figure out how to get the water out, was obviously dehydrated, chewing at the bars to try and get to the bottle of water sitting outside the cage. His eyes were crusted and irritated, fur was patchy and dampened with pee. Larger pups were caged in the lowest cages on the ground in about 2X4 cages (just enough for a 7 month old Husky pup to lay flat). These pups were lethargic and faced away from the glass so you couldn't see their faces. They were obviously distressed. Just when I thought it
